George Lynch è un chitarrista, compositore e produttore americano, noto soprattutto per il suo lavoro influente con Dokken e per essere il fondatore di Lynch Mob. Uno dei chitarristi più significativi del rock e del metal pesante degli anni '80, Lynch ha sviluppato uno stile altamente riconoscibile basato su riff aggressivi, soli fluidi e toni distintivi delle chitarre su album di Dokken come Tooth and Nail, Under Lock and Key e Back for the Attack, contribuendo a classici come "Into the Fire", "In My Dreams", "It's Not Love", "Dream Warriors" e l'inedito "Mr. Scary". Dopo essersi allontanato da Dokken, ha formato Lynch Mob e ha rilasciato l'acclamato Wicked Sensation, espandendosi successivamente in progetti solisti e collaborativi come Sacred Groove, KXM, The End Machine, Sweet & Lynch e Lynch/Pilson. Il suo lavoro strumentale include Seamless e Guitars at the End of the World, mentre Beast from the East di Dokken ha ottenuto una nomination al Grammy per la migliore performance metal.
