JAS The Entertainer, born LaShuan A. Johnson, is a Chicago-born vocalist and tribute performer best known for The Luther Vandross Experience. Trained in styles ranging from classical music to jazz, he has performed with groups including The Unit, The Next Phase Band, US, and Van Fields and the Stylistics Revue. Since developing his Luther Vandross production in 2012, JAS has presented the singer’s romantic R&B catalog with a full band and background vocalists, performing favorites such as “Never Too Much,” “A House Is Not a Home,” and “Dance with My Father.”
