Matute is a Mexican pop-rock band formed in 2007 under the direction of singer, musician, and producer Jorge D’Alessio. The six-member group transforms major English- and Spanish-language hits from the 1980s into energetic concert productions built around live musicianship, medleys, theatrical visuals, and nostalgia. Its catalog includes Ochenterizzimo, Poderes de los Duetos Fantásticos ¡Actívense!, En Concierto Desde la Arena Ciudad de México, La Guerra de los 80s, and the live recording of its Quinceañera World Tour. Matute has developed an international following through extensive touring across Mexico, the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
