Il Amity Affliction è una band australiana di metalcore e post-hardcore fondata a Gympie, in Queensland, nel 2003. Conosciuta per unire riff pesanti e vocali urlati a cori melodici e testi diretti e emotivi, la band ha conquistato una seguito internazionale grazie agli album Chasing Ghosts, Let the Ocean Take Me, This Could Be Heartbreak, Everyone Loves You... Once You Leave Them e Not Without My Ghosts. Tra le tracce più significative figurano "Pittsburgh," "Don’t Lean on Me," "Open Letter," "Drag the Lake" e "Soak Me in Bleach." L'album del 2026 House of Cards segna un nuovo capitolo con Jonathan Reeves che si occupa del basso e delle vocali pulite insieme a Joel Birch, Dan Brown e Joe Longobardi.
